Three ways to have it packed
#1 Full packing
We pack absolutely everything. You do nothing. The crew brings the materials, packs the books, the clothes, the crockery and the antiques, and labels every box.
#2 Partial packing
The middle ground. We pack the fragile crockery, the televisions and the awkward things. You pack your personal belongings and your clothes.
#3 Pack it yourself
The cheapest way. A few days before the move we deliver as many packing materials as you need straight to your home, and you run the packing yourself.
Glass and fragile crockery
Glass and porcelain are wrapped one piece at a time, in bubble wrap and acid-free paper. No empty space is left in the box, which rules out breakage from movement.
Furniture and household appliances
Once large furniture is taken apart, the corners and surfaces are covered in corrugated cardboard and stretch film. For appliance moving, screens and motors get an extra protective layer.
Books and heavy items
Packed by an amateur, boxes tear under the weight. We spread books and heavy oddments across small, reinforced boxes, which rules out a burst base or damage in transit.
A precise labelling system
Every box is labelled by room and by contents. Once the apartment move is done, you know exactly where the bedroom things are and where the kitchen ones are.
Frequently asked questions
Standard packing of furniture and appliances — stretch film and cardboard — is included in the price of the move. “Full packing” of small items and crockery is a separate service.
Yes. With the full service our crew unpacks the furniture and the large appliances, assembles them, and takes the used stretch film and cardboard away, so the space is left clean.
Packing all the small items in a standard 2–3 room apartment takes 3 to 8 hours on average. We schedule it for moving day or the day before.
If you choose the “pack it yourself” option, the cost of the materials depends on the size and number of boxes and how much protective film you need. We give you an exact costing in advance, once we have assessed what you need. Ordered together with the moving service, they are brought to you free.
We take full financial responsibility for what we pack. If you fill the boxes yourself, the insurance covers external damage to the box and not its contents, because the wrong packing inside can break something fragile.
